Ardclough Biodiversity Group
In 2022, Kildare County Council opened applications for 10 more communities across Kildare to receive biodiversity training and to develop Biodiversity Action Plans. One of our local biodiversity experts submitted an application on behalf of Ardclough, rounded up a group of interested neighbours, and here we are.
The Ardclough Biodiversity Action Plan
The Ardclough Biodiversity Action Plan, 2023 to 2028, is almost complete and will set out a plan of actions that we can undertake to protect the wonderful natural environments that we already have, and to make more space for biodiversity, in our community.
The plan is being developed by a team of landscape architects and ecologists, in consultation with local volunteers in Ardclough.
